The whole piece is stained with the same chestnut stain, however the colors vary because of the different materials. The vertebrae was found in Rhode Island, on a hike. The antler was a gift from a Florida friend who obtained it from a deer that was unfortunately struck by a vehicle. Everything is secured to a wood plaque.From the base of the wood to the tip of the antler is 9 inches. The plaque is just over 3 inches wide.
