- NO plastic anywhere and they take care of hundreds of animals weekly. Since plastic tends to be somewhat porous,
they retain odor even when washed. Cat usually start to reject plastic boxes after about 6 months of use. Even with
cleaning, that urine just won't come out of the scratches. But this will not be a problem with stainless steel. Try
